Laurentian Athletics Industries (1970) Ltd. is a Canadian manufacturing company. Our product line consists of Outdoor Bleachers, Grandstands, Soccer Goal Posts, Volleyball post, Badminton Posts, Trestles, Upper Body development, Track and Field Motor Conditioning equipment and Classroom furniture.

The company began its manufacturing operation in 1970 in Weston, Ontario with company founder Emilio Leoni. Here a unique hinging device was developed with several special safety attachments for the Trestle line of education movement equipment. A year later the facility had grown to 4,000 sq. ft., employing five people, with a dealer-distributorship network established across Canada.

In 1978, due to an increasing demand for our products and our reputation for excellent institutional equipment we were able to expand to an International Market. The company had to grow and the designing of a new plant in Brampton, Ontario began.

In 2012 our plant is 30,000 sq. ft., employing seventeen people. Our current plant has the most modern facilities for laminating, cutting, sanding and drilling wood and steel, powder coating, upholstering, packaging and shipping. Powder Coating all of our products has taken us a step beyond what most manufacturers in our industry are doing. Powder Coating is environmentally friendly putting virtually no emissions, solvents or hazardous pollutants into the atmosphere while creating a durable and attractive finish on our products. With our quest for quality, we are also certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau.

Throughout our steady growth--which continues even today--Laurentian has maintained strict quality control and remained competitive by upgrading and modernizing its production machinery. Our Employees have served us with dedication and some have over 30 years of experience with us.

2010 marked the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Laurentian. This landmark finds the company well entrenched in the marketplace, widely known in the industry and supported by an excellent network of dealers across Canada and USA. This success is due, to a large extent, to the continued patronage by the loyal users of our equipment- schools, universities, clubs, institutions and individuals.
